The approaches differ in where they draw the boundary. Namespaces use the same kernel but restrict visibility. Seccomp uses the same kernel but restricts the allowed syscall set. Data flows left to right. Each stage reads input, does its work, writes output. There's no pipe reader to acquire, no controller lock to manage.
